Endless festivals, a bustling arts community, a variety of sports recreation, and that mall that everyone seems to attach to the overall vision of Edmonton...these are amongst the many aspects that make E-town so damn special.
For all those haters who refuse to bask in the glory that Alberta's capital has evolved into, then perhaps they need to delve deeper into Edmonton's year-round offerings, or just pack up and get out, because I--and I'm sure thousands of others--have had enough of the backlash towards our diverse metropolis.
That doesn't mean that we're gonna sugar-coat everything that we do and everything we see; we're gonna fill you in on our personal experiences, whether they were good or bad, but we're gonna try and focus on the positive.
Our main goal is to showcase just how many things there are to do and see in the city of Edmonton, one of the most cultural towns in all of Canada, which has been proven time and time again.
Now with that said, let's take a look into all the places, the shops, the food, the events, and the people that make up the best city in the nation! Welcome to I Heart Edmonton...cheers!

IT'S kind've weird talking about yourself. Like when you have to fill out those awkward "tell us about you" boxes on dating sites. Not that I go on those dating sites. Okay, I do, what of it?! Anyways, I'm--as usual--straying off the topic. Me! Now, let's see....
My name is Emil Tiedemann, and I love Edmonton! It's my hometown, where I was born (in 1979) and raised, and where I'm sure I will die one day in the far off (I hope) future! Morbid, right?! Since 2009 I've been happily promoting and celebrating what Edmonton has to offer...and trust me, it's an endless mission. In the meantime, I myself have discovered soooo much about Edmonton, it's talent, it's places, it's history. I'm very proud to be a part of a city like this.
Anyways, more about me!! I'm also an avid, amateur photographer who'd love to spend his golden years snapping pics of foreign lands and such. Who knows?! I enjoy going to the movies, listening to ALL types of music, watching TV, travelling, poker, eating, sleeping, and spending precious time with my amazing family and friends. I couldn't live without them. Seriously. I'm a very lucky man.
So, I guess that's me in a nutshell. Nobody special, just someone who likes to point out the special in others. And Edmonton is stockpiled with it! Just saying.
